The Compliment We Never Get Tired of Hearing

When people first rent a storage unit, our goal is actually pretty simple.

Help them solve a problem.

Maybe they're moving.

Maybe they're remodeling.

Maybe they're finally tackling the garage that's been on their to-do list for three years.

Whatever the reason, most customers eventually move out.

And honestly, that's a good thing.

It usually means life moved forward.

The move was completed.

The renovation finished.

The extra space was no longer needed.

But every once in a while, we'll get a familiar phone call.

A familiar name.

A familiar email address.

Someone who rented from us years ago and suddenly needs storage again.

And every time it happens, we take it as a huge compliment.

After all, they already know what the experience is like.

They know how the facility works.

They know how we communicate.

They know what to expect.

And yet they still choose to come back.

Over the years, we've had customers return during a move, while helping family members downsize, after buying a new home, or when a growing business simply needed more room.

Some even tell us they never bothered shopping around because they remembered how easy the process was the first time.

That never gets old.

We also try to reward loyalty when we can.

Being a local company allows us to be a little more personal than many larger operations.

Sometimes that means special promotions.

Sometimes it means a handwritten note.

Sometimes it simply means talking to a real person who remembers your name.

At Stand Up Storage, we're incredibly grateful for every customer who chooses us.

But we're especially thankful for the ones who leave, accomplish what they set out to do, and then come back when life changes again.

To us, that's one of the strongest signs that we're doing something right.
